Is she the new Etta James?
Marsha McWilson is one of 12 kids. She’s also a wife and mother to two miracle sons. At one time Marsha weighed a whopping 400 pounds, but since then she has lost the weight despite a botched gastric bypass surgery. In life, Marsha has known much pain, dealing with the death of her brothers, sister, nephew and parents all in a short span of time. Despite many tragedies, Marsha has persevered through it all, clinging to her faith in God. As a musical minister, Marsha is the kind of artist who walks into a room radiating light, love and laughter. You don’t just hear her sing– you experience her.
In recent times, Marsha has collaborated with Tyler Perry as an actress on the OWN show, “If Loving You Is Wrong.” She has also shared the stage with many notable singers, including Michael Buble.
